Shanghai, Kaleidoscopic City exhibition payed homage to the desire for exchange and encounter between Chinese and European cultures, which from 2010 to 2017 animated an intense teaching and research work in the field of urban architecture, carried out within the framework of ENSA Strasbourg and the College of Architecture and Urban Planning, Tongji University Shanghai.

The exhibition presents the lines of thought and content of preparatory work for the Dual Master's Degrees Architecture and Urban Design & Urban Planning and Design (ENSA de Strasbourg and CAUP-Tongji University - Shanghai), which welcomed its first students at the start of the 2014-2015 academic year.

The research works, doctoral thesis and personal final projects in architecture and urban design that are exhibited testified to the themes carried by the "Innovative Metropolitan Mobilities" - IMM Chair (ENSAS-SYSTRA-CAUP/Tongji) team.

They are both scientific analyses and subjective quests to discover the Shanghai metropolis, its places and their architecture, the practices and perceptions of its multifaceted space.
