Reinventing Paris / Reinventing Shanghai
Analyse and re-imagine the relationship between city and infrastructure within two different metropolitan contexts: Paris and Shanghai.
In Paris, the Eole Evangile site is a triangular landlocked parcel of wasteland surrounded by mobility infrastructures. The site's potential lies in its proximity to the future Grand Paris Express network, the ring road and the Parc de la Villette.
In Shanghai, the design work questions the future of the World Expo 2010 site. A territory on both sides of the Huang Pu river which still has some traces and landmarks left from the world-wide event but which is in search for its future purpose and urbanity.
The design works focus on mobility issues and the way they can contribute to shaping current and future metropolitan spaces.
