Promoted by the Innovative Metropolitan Mobility Chair (ENSAS-CAUP Tongji -SYSTRA), the IMM design workshop 2017 (20 October-1st November) focuses on innovative and experimental planning & design approaches for big metropolises.

For this edition, with the subject “Mobility, metropolis & human scale” the students were asked to choose one or several sites in Shanghai in order to further develop these themes and build a multi-scale design project.

At ENSAS, the workshop was associated to the Collaborative Urban Design Studio (coord: Assoc. Prof. Volker Ziegler), an English language Master studio hosting the ENSAS-CAUP Tongji DMD students.
