Coupling Technology of NBS (Natural Based Solution) and Urban Renewal Plan

This research focus on the coupling technology of NBS and Urban renewal planning. The first stage is Preliminary study: Ecological analysis and evaluation, including investigation and research of Ecological climate, which concerns solar radiation, air temperature, humidity,wind and rainfall;and natural geographical environment,which concerns hydrology, vegetation and terrain. making Ecological sensitivity analysis, Slope analysis, Soil value analysis, Landscape value analysis by using GIS and remote sensing technique., and Superposition analysis of current data.

The second stage is urban renewal plan and design: making urban natural environment analogue simulation with Eco-tect and GIS , analysis the layout of greenland and Public service facilities(such as the Coverage and Accessibility of Public service facilities), analysing urban development intensity, Landscape sight,and the Ecological environment suitability,including Sunshine conditions and ventilation conditions.On the other hand,using Ecological technology such as Urban cold bridge(Cooling effect of urban greenland and water), Constructed wetland, Three dimensional greening, Water system regulation, Eco industrial park construction,to coupling NBS and urban renewal planning.

The third stage is Implementation and evaluation of the coupling of NBS and urban renewal planning. Making Simulation evaluation for planning program Using GIS,TransCAD before implementation, estimate the effect and risk of planning, giving suggestions to Planning implementation;to make Feedback evaluation to the Ecological impact of planning after implementation,and making Dynamic maintenance and adjustment to the urban renewal planning.
